He mentioned the lack of video recording at 4K.
Below he mentioned the lack of any image stabilisation.
I found that it doesn't allow hdr and higher than 4k YouTube.
The display is not HDR but this is a minor nuisance. The lack of 4K is annoying while viewing YouTube.
I verified it by comparing with Redmi Note 8 Pro LCD display, Xperia X2 Premium 4k LCD display, both capable of hdr. The image of my grand daughter is sharper using the Note 8 Pro at 4k Youtube than the Note 11 Pro 5g. The Xperia is sharper and her face is sharp.
That is why I use the Xperia as my main video camera, not any of my newer phone. I used the Note 8 Pro for its 64 Mp camera.
The Note 8 Pro 5 G has a 108 Mp camera, 2.2 vs 2.0 GHz processor and 6nm transistor size, 5000 mAh battery. At rm1300 it is expensive. It is better value to buy Note 12 Pro+ are less than rm1600 online but I do not intend to spend any extra money for the added features.
I compared the 108 Mp bright light picture with the 12 Mp, and I can see more than double the details. A 64 Mp should be slightly worse and 200 Mp should be slightly better, but less than double improvement.
My purpose of taking pictures is to preserve my memory, not so much to look at beautiful images. Colors and noises can be adjusted but once the details are missing, we cannot recover them anymore.
